Esteban Perez Pacheco is the founder of Chaska Huasi, a Los Angeles-based landscaping company built on a foundation of purpose, community, and deep respect for the natural world. From an early age, Esteban felt most at home outdoors, drawn to nature, moved by the elements, and connected to the land in a way that would come to define his life’s work. Of Quechua and Cora Huichol descent, he carries a profound sense of responsibility to honor his ancestry through the environments he creates, believing that beauty in a space is not just aesthetic but ancestral as well. He launched Chaska Huasi to open doors for Quechua natives, inner-tribal natives, and like-minded individuals in need of opportunity, turning a personal calling into a thriving business. Currently pursuing a degree in Business at Pasadena City College, Esteban brings both hands-on craftsmanship and entrepreneurial vision to everything he builds. Chaska Huasi—meaning “the house of stars” in the Quechua language—was born from a deeply personal mission: to create opportunity for Quechua immigrants who were struggling to find their footing in a new land. What began as an act of community care has grown into a full-service landscaping company rooted in indigenous wisdom, an unwavering love for the natural world, and the belief that every outdoor space holds the potential to become something extraordinary.
WHAT WE DO
Chaska Huasi specializes in transforming residential, commercial, and community outdoor spaces into living works of art. Current services include custom stairs and retaining walls, garden design, scenic trails, and aesthetic pathways. The company continues to grow its offerings, introducing mulching, hedging, water irrigation, water features, and full landscape design to meet the evolving needs of the clients and communities it serves.

Every project at Chaska Huasi moves through four intentional stages: acknowledgement, understanding, integration, and movement. The process opens with a thorough consultation to align on vision, expectations, and budget, followed by a detailed site analysis covering labor, materials, and safety. From there, the team develops a clear project plan and maintains daily communication with the client from start to completion. This structured, transparent process ensures every project is delivered with precision and care.
